Our Mission Is To

HALT (Help Animals Lives Today) is an all Volunteer Organization dedicated to:

• The welfare of companion animals and the sheltering and placement of these animals.
• The prevention of cruelty to animals and of pet overpopulation;
• Providing educational programs on responsible pet ownership and adoption, spay and neuter benefits;
• Creating paid foster homes for pets with planned pet trust funds...
• Secure and plan for your pet's future if you become unable to take care of them.

WORK

We rescue and shelter unwanted, homeless and abused animals, more than 700 per year; provide them with needed medical treatment; and find them homes locally or transport them to no-kill adoption centers in other areas.

VISION

The end of euthanasia of adoptable animals and the creation of a no-kill sanctuary for those animals who are un adoptable due to age or physical condition.
